British Embassy Berlin: Financial attaché – 2-year temporary position based
in Frankfurt

This two-year position represents an excellent opportunity for an
individual with knowledge and experience of banking and financial sector
issues to work as part of the Economic Team in one of the UK’s largest and
most important overseas posts. The incumbent will be responsible for
representing the UK’s position and delivering reporting on a range of
financial issues which are fundamental for the UK’s national interest and
for its role in Europe and globally. We are looking for a self-starter with
strong interpersonal and networking skills. The post will involve spending
a majority of time in Frankfurt including attending evening events when
necessary.

The expected monthly salary is €3,615 gross plus certain bonuses after a
qualifying period, in addition to a generous leave allowance. This is a
temporary position for a period of two years.
